Located in the village of Scissett, surrounded by beautiful countryside and breathtaking views. Scissett Mount is set around a wonderful Oak tree, and offer's excellent outdoor communal space, for residents to enjoy. Scissett Mount provides bespoke accommodation and outstanding care and support for up to 80 people. Our services include residential care, specialist dementia care, respite care, and day care, within a welcoming and comfortable environment.

At Scissett Mount, we offer residential care for people who find living alone difficult or need help with daily tasks. We focus on what you need as an individual.
We can help with:
- Personal care, like washing and dressing.
- Health and food, making sure your medical and nutritional needs are met.
- Staying active, by keeping everyone engaged and safe.
- Socializing, helping you make friends and join in on fun activities, building friendships and embracing opportunities to take part in social activities.
Short Stays
We also offer short-term stays for respite or convalescence care (recovering after being ill).
Dementia Care
At Scissett Mount, we offer specialist care for people living with dementia including:
- Personal care, we focus on your life history, what you like, and what you are good at.
- Positive support, we focus on the skills you have, rather than what you have lost.
- Helpful environment, our home is designed to help you. We use pictures on bedroom doors and photos of the local area in hallways to help you remember and find your way.
- Trained staff, our team is trained to understand how you feel and help you feel valued and happy.
